Flahertiana and the Russian State Archive of Film and Photo Documents continue their long-standing partnership. This year’s archival program is devoted to the heroic labor and everyday life on the Soviet home front during the Great Patriotic War. Two rare wartime films – A Concert for the Frontline and The Urals Forge Victory – show how art and industry united for the common cause, becoming both a powerful rear guard and a source of spiritual strength for soldiers at the front.
