Sanek is an ordinary teacher at a school for troubled teenagers – young people to whom life has left almost no chances. Most of their parents are drug addicts or alcoholics. By the age of 10 – 15, these children have already seen many terrible things. Sanek builds special, trusting relationships with them – so close that at times it seems he is one of them. The fates of the kids turn out differently, but even if he manages to save just one, Sanek believes his life has been worth living.
