Call for Entries: 26th IDFF Flahertiana

The 26th International Documentary Film Festival Flahertiana will take place in Perm from September 25 to October 1, 2026.

Documentary filmmakers and producers are invited to submit their work free of charge. Entry forms are available here: https://flahertiana.ru/about/appl

Deadlines:

International and National Competitions – until May 10, 2026
Student Competition – until June 25, 2026

Eligibility & Selection Criteria:

Films must continue the aesthetic principles of Robert Flaherty’s Nanook of the North: long-term observational filming, an unobtrusive camera, and the absence of voiceover narration
Films must have been completed no earlier than January 1st, 2025.

Selected films will be announced on the festival website and social media channels after July 1st, 2026.
