The company of the Nizhny Novgorod Youth Theatre is rehearsing The Miracle Worker by William Gibson. In search of authenticity, the actors find themselves immersed in the real-life world of Petya, a young boy, his mother, and his teacher. Scenes from the play about educating a deafblind child begin to echo real life in unexpected ways, revealing that reality is always more complex and profound than fiction.
